2 egg whites
1/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 cup natural orange juice (optional)
2 slices Ezekiel bread (sprouted bread, found in refrigerated section, helps with GI issues)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (start with this amount and add additional if needed)
Optional toppings: strawberries, blueberries, hemp seed, natural maple syrup
I always encourage organic, local, and gmo free products to be used.
Combine eggs, coconut milk, spices, and orange juice in a bowl. Moisten/soak bread in the mixture for several minutes on each side. Warm up your cooking pan with coconut oil. Cook bread to your tastes. If you have any leftover mixture, you can cook the remaining or add another slice of bread and repeat process. Add remaining mixture or optional toppings and enjoy!
