The name of this burger pretty much speaks for itself. A juicy, quarter pound grass fed beef burger patty topped with homemade guacamole. This Guacamole Bacon Burger is as good as it gets!
1 pound Organic Ground Beef
3⁄4 teaspoon Organic Granulated Garlic
3⁄4 teaspoon Organic Granulated Onion
1 teaspoon Real Salt
1⁄2 teaspoon Organic Ground Black Pepper
4 hamburger buns or 4 large organic lettuce leaves
For the guacamole
2 ripe organic avocados
1⁄4 cup organic cherry or grape tomatoes, chopped
1 organic jalapeño, seeded and minced
Juice of 1 organic lime
Real Salt, to taste
Organic Pepper Jack Cheese Slices
grilled peppers such as poblano, serrano, jalapeñov
In a large bowl, mash the avocados. Add the tomatoes, jalapeño, and lime juice. Stir until well combined and season with salt to taste.
Add the ground beef and seasonings to a mixing bowl and use your hands to thoroughly combine. Divide into four equal portions and form into ¼-½-inch-thick patties.
Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until preferred doneness. If using cheese, add when burger is turned for the first time.
Toast the buns and place the burger patties on buns (or on the lettuce leaves if using). Top with guacamole and crumbled bacon along with any optional ingredients and serve immediately.
